Please join us for an immersive meditative sound journey experience at MK Creative Arts Studio in Wake Forest, N.C. as composer and producer Julian Hartwell and master sound healer Kirk Jones present the live performance of their new album 'Halcyon Listening Room.’ Julian will be playing piano while Kirk plays bronze and crystal singing bowls, Paiste gongs, and molinuka flute. The album features a variety of nature ambiences as well - from birds to ocean waves to tree frogs to rolling thunder - that they field-recorded around the US and Caribbean; providing a grounding and inspiring backdrop - all reminders to pause, listen, and reflect.
The evening begins with a short qigong movement practice, guided relaxation, and grounding warm-up that segues naturally into the sound healing journey. At the end of the program…
