Maria Kordit

OUR 
STORY

Founder of MK Creative Arts Studio - Maria Kordit began her dance journey at age 9 in the Pacific Northwest, becoming a competitive International Ballroom/Latin 10-Dancer. At 18, she transitioned to a career in public health and technology but never lost her love for dance. For the past 15 years, Maria has taught children and adults, continually honing her skills with top coaches as she moved from Seattle to LA, New York, and now Raleigh. Having witnessed dance transform and even save lives, Maria believes in its power and every student's potential to achieve their goals.

Maria honors all movement arts of the body, mind, and spirit. She dreams of building a home where independent artists and movers can share their passions and gifts with local communities, fostering creativity, wellness, and health.
