Join us for an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' at The Art & Soul Studio in downtown Wake Forest! This event will feature scripts, auditions, games, choreography, and a true performance.

Dress rehearsal and big finale performances will be performed at: The Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Center, home of Firebox Theatre Company.

Do you have a more hands-on child? Or one who prefers to be behind the scenes? Perfect! Our troupes are categorized by Theatrical and Stage Production. Neither can be successful without the other. Please enroll your student in which group best represents their interests. Please note, both groups WILL be encouraged and engaged in learning the other group’s skills.

* Concessions will be available at finale performance to enhance the show experience 

* A group cast photo will be prominently displayed behind the ticket booth at Firebox Theatre Company

It all begins with warmup games. Each child is provided a script and an opportunity to audition for the part they desire. Audition results will be posted in our private Facebook group. We will practice weekly in downtown Wake Forest at MK Creative Arts Studio, beside of Pelican’s.

About the drama/theatre teacher: Angela has been teaching visual arts locally for one and a half years, but is ready, willing, and able to bring her love of drama back to Wake Forest and surrounding areas. As a child, Angela was cast in her first production at age 6 for church. As a teenager, she performed in Drama Club and Theatre class all throughout high school. She entered college, auditioned for and made the college acting troupe on campus. In her early 30’s Angela volunteered her creative talents to children’s community theatre in Missouri. She built stage props and painted back drops. Later, she starred in 4 short films, and Angela’s company produced 2. Some of her acting credits can be located on IMDB.

About the choreographer/dance instructor: Maria has been dancing since age 8. She has been competing internationally in both ballroom and salsa since the age of 18. Maria’s love of dance has traveled with her around the US to include Seattle, New York, and now the greater Raleigh area. She is the owner of MK Creative Arts Studio and still teaches dance classes.
